We are also a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity organization. We are a community in every sense of the word, with members having diverse talents and interests.
Additional events range from attending outside speaking events and debates to hiking, bowling, pub crawling, dinners, and philanthropic activities. Presentations by notable guest speakers and ACSJ members cover a broad spectrum of topics, some examples include atheism, religion, secularism, science, philosophy, and more. We typically meet every other Wednesday for a presentation by a guest speaker. We promote a positive public perception of atheists and secularists, and work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.
The Atheist Community of San Jose (ACSJ) is an organization for atheists and like-minded non-believers, founded to develop and support the atheist community and to provide opportunities for socializing, philanthropy, education, and friendship.
